Microblading

Loss or thinning of eyebrows can occur either due to genetic traits or due to certain diseases. There are very few options to increase the eyebrow volume, in other words to make the eyebrow look thick.

Microblading is a new technique used for creating eyebrows using a single use, sterile and disposable tool which consists of very fine pins. The tool is dipped into the pigment, then a hair shape is implanted into the skin to the basal layer of the dermis. It is a form of tattooing.

The day after the procedure is done, your eyebrows will look dark. This is temporary. The top layer of your skin sheds and renews itself every few days and with this the initial dark look fades and only the colour that is taken up by the dermis will reflect on the eyebrows.

A touch-up is done only after 6 weeks, where any areas that need enhancement or that have healed with a loss of pigment are filled in.

A single session usually may last until 2-3 years, but this also depends on proper after care, age of the patient, condition of the skin, products used, sun exposure etc.,.
